When starting your garden seedlings indoors, plant the seeds in egg shell halves.

Simply crack the shells around the roots of your plants and transplant them outdoors … the shell is a natural fertilizer!

What a great idea. Somewhere in the back of my head I think I’ve heard of this before. Of course using the bottom half of the egg carton is a perfect holder for these little seedlings. I’m going to remember this tip when I am someplace I can have a garden again. Before I have saved all my little plastic containers for growing seedlings indoors for my spring garden.
